Arbortext & APP World Users' Meeting 2012
 

The 3rd Arbortext APP World users' meeting will be held on the 20th and 21st of November in Cologne, Germany 2012. This event is being held in parallel with the German community users meeting (APP-Anwendertreffen), now in it's 19th year and promises to be the largest ever international APP community meeting.

Arbortext Advanced Print Publisher (APP), formerly known as the 3B2 Publishing System, has provided the core development environment behind the solutions to many complex and extreme publishing requirements for over 25 years.

This event gives you the opportunity to:

• Discover the potential from new and updated APP and Arbortext releases.

• Learn new technologies and APP (3B2) methods.

• Have your Arbortext and APP questions answered.

• Meet with other publishing professionals and Arbortext / APP (3B2) specialists from the world wide community.

The conference tracks will be held in 2 rooms parallel in German and English language.

Programme

The content of the presentations and workshops is now in preparation and will depend strongly on the development progress of APP until November. And we will present the new functionalities of APP and give a glimpse into the evolution of the next major release APP version 12.

At the fore front of this years programme will be technical workshops and product/application learning sessions.

We already have the commitment of Simon Taylor, the Arbortext product manager, and other representatives from PTC. PTC continues to work very hard on the integration of APP into the world of dynamic publishing and building core APP technologies.

Location and Venue

• After very positive feedback on past events, the event will be held at the Marriott Hotel in Cologne Germany.

• The Hotel is 5 minutes walk from Cologne's main train station, which is 10 minutes by train from Cologne-Bonn European airport or 50 minutes by train from Frankfurt international airport.
