Kubota are a large manufacturer of agricultural and construction machinery with many complex requirements for technical user and service documentation.
Requirements
Working with our partner Arsandis GMBH we were asked to make a series of extensive customisations the standard Arbortext DITA Stylesheets and Layouts beyond the Stylesheet GUI interface and into native Arbortext Layout Developer functionality while maintaining the data model integrity and fully automated workflow within the PTC Arbortext Service Information Manager environment.
Outcome & Benefits
All of the customer document layout requirements were met by the Arbortext ALD toolbox by way of extended Styler functions and native ALD source code edits and implemented for the customer in a phased system roll out and handover knowledge transfer given to our partners for easy future maintenance.
