The HeterMedia group provide solutions which can include everything from financial document printing and hosting, to e-book solutions and webcasts, to comprehensive design and language services.
Requirement
HeterMedia had been running APP for a few years prior to our engagement with a configuration designed and implemented for them by a 3rd party provider. They wished to utilise the APP platform for some new project and workflow plans and decided to opt for our extensive in-house training program instead of having the solution created externally again for them.
Technical / Challenges
As well as requiring training on how to modify their existing APP templates which were based on traditional APP API methods. HeterMedia also wished to exploit all of the new technologies introduced from APP version 10 including the JavaScript Formatting Object Model API. This resulted in an extensive and tailored 3 week program of instructor lead training, backed by extensive course materials and delivered at their offices on Hong Kong Island.
Outcome & Benefits
The result of the training and support delivered to HeterMedia is the successful development of their new fully automated (JavaScript API technology), APP Version 11 based, workflow solution. In use on APP Desktop and APP Enterprise environments.
