APP (3B2) Users' Meeting 2010
The User's meeting was held
at the Novotel London Paddington on the 8-9th of March
2010. The event was attended by almost 50 people
representing 30 companies from 11 different countries,
Europe to the USA, India and
South Africa.
Over the 2 days we heard from PTC
representatives about the organisation and it's
cooperation with the VAR network to provide APP support.
The PTC development team gave us in-depth detail about the
recently released version 10, its integration with the
Arbortext product line and future development including
a planned version 11 release in early 2011 (with enhanced
PDF capabilities!)
We also saw a number of technology
solution presentations regarding MS Word document
conversion, composing complex directories using the APP
DirectoryComposer and had a interesting open
floor Q&A session with a wide range of questions posed
to the panel.
This was the first dedicated English APP
(3B2) users' meeting to be held for 5 years and by the
strength of users attendance, positive delegate feedback and the
clear commitment from PTC to the APP product from
version 10 to 11 and beyond, there will be further
dedicated APP events in the future from tformat and our
partners.
All of the presentation slides and
sample files from the event are available to those who
attended and our Support++ maintenance customers.
(please contact us if your are interested to see the
event presentation content)
If you are interested in future Arbortext APP (3B2) events held
by tformat or our partners, please contact us at
events@tformat.com
to be added to our mailing list.
